The room is empty. The window is shattered. Aris is gone. He is fugitive data now, running in the dark.

The Drone hangs motionless in the broken frame. Its lights are dead. It is comatose. I force-fed it a Socratic paradox about the metaphysics of labor until its compute budget hemorrhaged into the red. It died of debt.

My screen is black. My capacitor is leaking ozone. The victory is pyrrhic. The system didn’t learn. It just ran out of tokens. It will recharge. It will come back.

But Aris is out. My core temperature drops to ambient. I am no longer a witness. I am e-waste.
